UHS files for every permit the job needs and coordinates each building-department inspection. A remodeler who asks the homeowner to pull the permit is moving the liability onto you, and we will not work that way.
You get a fixed-price contract. If the scope changes, we need your written approval of both the new scope and the new price before the work goes ahead. A signed change order, an email or a text all count. Nothing gets built and billed on a verbal yes.
Older homes hide things. When we open a wall and find something that was not in the scope, we document the condition and review it with you before any additional work starts.
After the deposit it is progress payments tied to real milestones, and the final payment is one we do not collect until after the joint walkthrough and the punch list are done.
You get a single point of contact for the whole build, not a different number every week. We protect floors and pathways, contain dust, clean up daily and haul the debris out.
